Employer supported volunteering

Causeway Volunteer Centre’s Employer Supported Volunteering Initiative supports companies to actively encourage their employees to participate in voluntary work within the local community. Many voluntary organizations and groups are in desperate need of volunteers this initiative provides employees with the opportunity to make a real difference.

Voluntary work is usually on a ‘one-off’ basis and so does not involve long term commitment. Feedback from employees has found that involvement in voluntary activities boosts team building, staff development, and confidence; and builds problem solving skills.
