| Description | By joining your local fundraising group and assisting with its fundraising activities you will be making a valuable contribution towards making a positive difference to the life of someone living with dementia. Fundraising group volunteers help us on a regular basis each month and can be involved in contributing ideas to the fundraising plan, assisting at agreed fundraising events, thinking of new ways to generate income and organising specific events. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team and meet new friends. You will also gain new experiences and make good use of existing skills or learn new skills whilst gaining the satisfaction that you are making a positive difference to the life of someone living with dementia, their carer and family. No fundraising experience is required. This role would be ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about charity fundraising in their local area and is happy to volunteer as part of a team Volunteers will receive induction training and will benefit from ongoing training and support.
