** HELPLINE VOLUNTEERS **
The ZGBTST helpline has been
operating for 10 months with the need for further expansion to accommodate clients.
The role of a ZGBTST helpline
volunteer is to provide compassionate telephone support to the callers 24/7.
Assisting them with a listening ear, appropriate advice and support in their
time of need.
Gathering client information
Supportive listening ear
10am – 10pm & 10pm – 10am once
This role would be suited to
someone who has experience in befriending/supporting vulnerable individuals however
this is not essential as all training will be provided.
Due to the sensitive nature,
this opportunity is only suitable for those aged 18 or over and is subject to
an Access NI check.
All ZGBTST volunteers are
supported by a volunteer manager to assist with any queries at all times.
