Information Volunteer

Pancreatic Cancer is tough, tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research.  For too long the disease has been sidelined and Pancreatic Cancer UK want to make sure that everyone touched by it gets the support and information they need by providing expert, personalised support, funding research and campaigning for change.

As an information volunteer you will be at information stands in hospitals and community settings.  Distributing publications, engaging with people who have been affected by pancreatic cancer and signposting them to the appropriate services and information.  You can also help identify local outlets for information about pancreatic cancer in your area.

Desirable skills:

·         Good listening and communication skills

·         Empathy for those affected by pancreatic cancer

·         Understanding of confidentiality

·         Confident and reliable

·         Knowledge of Pancreatic Cancer UK Services


·         Full training and support will be given

·         Out of pocket expenses reimbursed
