Volunteer Opportunity: Creative Media Executive

Aspire Media N.I. CIC is a growing creative social enterprise using media, storytelling and digital content to support local businesses, community groups and charities across Northern Ireland. We are now seeking a Creative Media Executive (Volunteer) to support our expanding content creation and media projects.

This is an unpaid volunteer role, ideal for anyone looking to gain real-world experience in the creative industries, build a strong portfolio, or contribute their skills to meaningful community-focused work.

Key Responsibilities

As a Volunteer Creative Media Executive, you will support our team across a wide range of exciting projects, including:

· Assisting with photography and videography at events, projects and client shoots (as required)

· Supporting the editing and post-production of video, photo and audio content

· Helping to prepare and schedule digital content for social media (under guidance)

· Taking part in creative brainstorming sessions for campaigns, promotions and community storytelling

· Organising and archiving footage, photos and digital assets

· Attending team meetings (virtual and/or in person)

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from people with a genuine interest in media and creativity. You don’t need to be fully qualified — enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.

· A passion for storytelling through media

· Basic knowledge of photography, videography or editing (training can be provided)

· Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite is desirable but not required

· Reliable, creative and eager to develop new skills

· An interest in community work and social impact

· Preference will be given to applicants within a 15–20 minute radius of our Coleraine office due to in-person opportunities
