Role Title:

The Big Help Out - Gardener Furniture refresh and restore

Where:

Abbeyfield House, Lever Road, Portstewart

When/commitment

One-off opportunity

Friday 7th or Saturday 8th June, by mutual agreement and weather permitting

Purpose of the opportunity

To clean and repaint our garden furniture

About the opportunity:

We’re looking for two or three willing volunteers to roll up their sleeves and provide some much needed tlc to our garden furniture.

We have a few seats/benches that need to be cleaned and repainted so that our small outdoor garden area is enhanced and our residents can enjoy sitting outside.

Abbeyfield & Wesley is a member of the Abbeyfield movement, a national charity dedicated providing housing and support for older people. Experience and/or skills

·         Have experience of cleaning and repainting outdoor furniture

·         Be  reasonably fit and active

·         Work within personal and organisational boundaries

Practical considerations:

·         Wear appropriate footwear and clothing

·         Abbeyfield & Wesley will provide tools and materials needed for the task
